! The following counts come from two areas in the US and refer to a
! 5-year period.   The population is all patients who underwent surgery,
! and the deaths include all patients who died in the hospital following
! surgery.

! Notice that on the next-to-last line, there were apparently 70 deaths
! out of 52 patients.   This probably should have been 50 out of 52.

! The logistic model fits these data fairly well except for the 0-4 age group.
