Oliver Palin completed his Bachelor of Environmental Science and Management at University of Newcastle where he majored in Marine Science. Since then, he has moved to Tasmania to work with CLS Oceania, subsidiary of the French Space Agency (CNES). While Olivers experience is centred around ecology, his current role focuses on the technical aspects of managing data collection. Via satellite telemetry, Oliver works to collect data for animal migrations, fisheries management and predicting the movement of plastic accumulations in ocean currents.
