His<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-267 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/wp.csiro.au\/epws23\/files\/2023\/03\/Evant_CSIRO.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"114\" height=\"173\" srcset=\"https:\/\/wp.csiro.au\/epws23\/files\/2023\/03\/Evant_CSIRO.jpg 114w, https:\/\/wp.csiro.au\/epws23\/files\/2023\/03\/Evant_CSIRO-66x100.jpg 66w, https:\/\/wp.csiro.au\/epws23\/files\/2023\/03\/Evant_CSIRO-99x150.jpg 99w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 114px) 100vw, 114px\" \/> research interests are in the development of highly functional materials and the design of recyclable polymers.<\/p>\n<p>He has published or patented in many areas of polymer science. He developed a photochromic dye technology that was sold to Vivimed Labs which now sells the technology as part of its Reversacol photochromic dye product range.&nbsp; In collaboration with laser physicist Prof Min Gu, they were able to break Abbe&#8217;s Law of Diffraction as applied to 3D photolithography.<\/p>\n<p>He has held Adjunct Professorships at the School of Science at RMIT University, the Centre of Advanced Molecular Design of&nbsp; University of New south Wales and Centre of Microphotonics at Swinburne University of Technology.&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"","protected":false},"author":164,"featured_media":267,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"nba-redirect":"","footnotes":""},"categories":[4],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-167","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-speakers"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.8 -
