The ubiquity of plastic in modern society has propelled its environmental impact to the forefront of global concern. Addressing the sustainability of plastic necessitates a multifaceted approach that integrates strategies, technologies, and assessments of environmental repercussions. As a lesson learn, this research delves into the complexities of navigating plastic sustainability, examining a spectrum of strategies employed by industries, governments, and communities in Indonesia. It investigates innovative technologies aimed at mitigating plastic pollution, encompassing advancements in recycling, biodegradation, and alternative materials. Furthermore, this study evaluates the environmental impact of various plastic management practices, considering factors such as carbon emissions, resource consumption, and ecosystem health. By synthesizing insights from diverse disciplines, this research seeks to inform comprehensive strategies for achieving sustainable plastic use and management in the context of evolving environmental challenges.
