Another output of the study are projections of plastics consumption and end-of-life (waste) generation out to 2050, by polymer type and application.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In this presentation Kyle will outline the high-level numbers on plastics flows in Australia across; plastics consumption and recovery estimates since 2000, plastics recovery rates by polymer type and application, projections of plastics consumption and end-of-life generation out to 2050, and current and planned plastics reprocessing capacity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The objective of this presentation is to provide a good sense of the macro level flows and fates of plastics use in Australia, and the scale of the plastics waste management challenge over the next few decades.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Presentation by Kyle O\u2019Farrell\u00a0(Blue Environment)<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":186,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_jetpack_newsletter_access":"","_jetpack_dont_email_post_to_subs":false,"_jetpack_newsletter_tier_id":0,"_jetpack_memberships_contains_paywalled_content":false,"_jetpack_feature_clip_id":0,"_jetpack_memberships_contains_paid_content":false,"nba-redirect":"","footnotes":"","jetpack_post_was_ever_published":false},"categories":[6],"tags":[5],"class_list":["post-2273","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-presentations","tag-plastics"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.8 -
