Dr Yuguo Yu has expertise focusing on sustainable concrete technology, virtual computational mechanics, and machine learning aided analysis & design. Dr Yu has strong track record with all of his journal papers published on JCR Q1 platforms and industrial tractions highlighted by Australian Innovation Patent. Dr Yuguo Yu’s work addresses a longstanding challenge in the field, which is to understand how the newly developed green materials will stand the test of time. To this end, Dr Yu created a robust physics-based computer program to offer both academia and industry opportunities to reverse engineer optimal concrete mixes for achieving enhanced sustainability, durability, and resilience.
