Kirsty Wilson, RMIT University Australia

Dr Kirsty Wilson is a vice chancellor’ postdoctoral research fellow with Professor Magdalena Plebanski in the Cancer, Ageing, and Vaccines research group, School of Health and Biomedical Sciences, at RMIT, Bundoora. Dr Wilson is interested in studying the effects of nanoparticles, vaccines and other therapeutics on the immune system, in both human clinical trials and animal models. Over the past ten years, Dr Wilson has also been generating and testing nanoparticles as vaccine delivery systems and investigating how they interact with specific cell types to enhance or modulate the immune response.
