Geoff Germon, Talon Technology Pty Ltd

Geoff has a degree in Economics from ANU and is an Adjuct Professor of Design at the University of Canberra.

He founded Talon Technology in 1986 a company that specialises in the development of consumer products in carbon fibre and advanced composites.

He invented the first carbon fibre hockey stick and the first carbon fibre café chair, taking Talon Hockey to number 3 in the world market.

He has considerable experience in Asia having set up three greenfield manufacturing and R&D facilities, he has worked in Malaysia , Thailand, China , Taiwan and Myanmar.

Geoff has a first hand experience of the scale of the plastic waste in the Asia / Pacific area and 3 years ago started the LPM project to look at how he could employ a very unique skill set to this complex problem.
