Having a day with over 300 of you who feel as passionately as we do about translating big ideas into real-world impact for Australia was a dream come true. We can’t wait to do it all again next year.
ON Core – presented by the ON Innovation Program, is an annual event dedicated to bringing together Australia’s deep tech innovation ecosystem. Through connecting our ON Alumni and Mentors with the national network that supports them, this exclusive event provoked conversation, knowledge-sharing, and networking. We are thankful to have hosted ON Core 2023 on the lands of the Eora Nation (Alexandria, Sydney) and home to the Gadigal people. We were honoured to have Elder Uncle Allan Murray take us through Welcome to Country, and thank Metropolitan Local Aboriginal Land Council for their work to promote and protect Aboriginal culture.

Tennille Eyre: ON Core 2023 has been amazing. It’s so great to see all of our alumni community and that supporting ecosystem come together.
Michael Bye: I think the value of bringing the ecosystem together at the end of such a phenomenal year has been sharing the learnings and reflections and what people really got from it. And the overwhelming feedback is, again, that power in community.
Alex Cooke: The most amazing thing about today has been getting together all of these people who have been on the same shared journey. They’ve been having very different experiences, but just having all those people come together, and I think realize that they’re all trying to solve the same problems as each other in different ways, and so the energy has just been amazing.
Tennille Eyre: Starting up a company can be a lonely journey and making sure that they have the opportunity to connect with people that will support them on that path, give them insight, feedback, challenge them, but also empower them is critical to their success.
