Dr. Jane Holden, Monash University

Dr Jane Holden is the Citarum Program Manager for Monash Sustainable Development Institute and Monash Art, Design and Architecture where she works to build coalitions of academics, local government, industry and community, to share knowledge, build capacity for transformative change and co-design action research agendas for measuring on-ground impact. Previously, living in Indonesia and Malaysia, Jane founded a social enterprise to grow distribution channels for goods made from waste by cottage industries, and developed a deep understanding of the cultural, social and economic complexity of transitioning vulnerable communities towards more sustainable and liveable futures.
