Peter Bury, Chemistry Australia

Peter has 42 years of diverse experience across manufacturing, association management, and emergency services. He supports sustainable, competitive growth of the chemicals and plastics sector through prosecution of Chemistry Australia’s Strategic Plan, its energy, circular economy and innovation partnerships. Peter provides specialist policy and technical advice for governments, industry, research, academia and communities. Peter represents Australia on the International Council of Chemical Association’s global Plastics Leadership Group, developing policy and positions to support the UN Treaty to End Plastic Pollution, and represents industry on APCO’s Collective Action Group, Standards Australia Circular Economy Technical Committee and various ARC Advisory Committees.
