Poster: Characterisation of a Commercial Cooling Tower as an Air Contactor for Direct Air Capture

Dr Kiani’s poster is in regard to a study that evaluated a commercial cooling tower as a low-cost air contactor compared to conventional contactors for direct air capture. Results showed effective CO2 capture with much lower pressure drop than packed columns, offering significant energy savings and supporting scalable, low-cost DAC deployment.
