Jen Taylor

Dr. Jen Taylor is an Executive Director at CSIRO, leading the Future Industries sector, which drives innovation across agriculture, health, biosecurity, and manufacturing. With a background in genomics and data science, she has held research and leadership roles at the University of Queensland, University of Oxford, and CSIRO, where she has advanced technologies for crop improvement, food provenance, and biosecurity. 

Passionate about collaboration and industry partnerships, Jen plays a key role in strengthening Australia’s innovation ecosystem. Z 
 
She has authored over 100 peer-reviewed publications (H-index 61) and previously led CSIRO’s Agriculture and Food division, shaping research strategy and impact.
