Gavin Walker is a Principal Experimental Scientist at CSIRO. He has over 30 years experience in research and development. He has developed data standards for water and worked in data sharing initiatives in government. Data can empower new connections between people and industry which will transform the way materials are used, reused and recycled. Feedback loops can only happen when data is shared and that can only happen when it is safe to do so and the data sharers gain sufficient value to resource it. Gavin helps to find that sweet spot in sharing, value and safety.
