Lucy Jackson, Kimberly Clark
Lucy Jackson is the Manager of Communications and Government Affairs at Kimberly-Clark ANZ. In her role Lucy helps to drive the local execution of Kimberly-Clark’s global ambition to reduce their environmental footprint by half, whilst improving the lives of 1 billion people. She is part of local, regional and global working groups focussed on increasing circularity and reducing plastic. Most recently, Lucy has been part of the development of an Australian-first nappy recycling trial, whereby Huggies nappies are turned into nutrient-rich compost and biogas in an innovative project in South Australia. Prior to joining Kimberly-Clark Lucy worked for almost a decade in sustainability strategy and communications, delivering projects for some of Australia’s largest corporates, government organisations, not-for-profits, and social enterprises. She and her husband also have a family business, where they created Australia’s first commercial ocean plastics supply chain and consumer product using plastic collected from the Great Barrier Reef. Lucy is a passionate advocate for a circular economy and lives in Sydney with her husband and two young children.
