Extrusion Perspectives Video Competition
🎥 Share Your Perspective on Food/Feed Extrusion Research & Technology
This is your opportunity to contribute to the Internation Symposium on Food & Feed Extrusion, even if you can’t attend in person!
We’re calling on extrusion researchers, students, technologists, and innovators from around the world to submit a short pre-recorded video sharing your food/feed extrusion perspectives, which will be showcased during our “Extrusion Perspectives” session at the Symposium (7–8 August, Melbourne, Australia).
🏆 $500 Prize for Best Video Submission
The most insightful, engaging, or thought-provoking submission will be awarded an AUD$500 prize, as judged by the Symposium Technical Committee.
đź“Ś What to Submit
We’re looking for 3 – 7 minute videos that explore a topic related to extrusion in food or feed systems. Your video could include:
- A research insight or emerging trend you’ve observed during your work
- A personal or regional perspective on extrusion challenges or opportunities
- A visionary idea about the future of extrusion technology
- A creative take on sustainability, nutrition, or innovation in the space
đź“‹ Submission Guidelines
- Video Length: 3 to 7 minutes
- Format: MP4 preferred (landscape orientation)
- Language: English (subtitles encouraged if audio is unclear)
- Deadline: Friday, 1st August 2025
- Submission: Via email. Please upload your video to a cloud sharing platform (e.g. Google Drive, Dropbox) and email us the download link along with your name, affiliation, a 50–100 word description, and whether you’re happy for your video to be showcase publicly on the event website after the event.
