Extrusion CoP #5 – The Role of Rheology in Extrusion Processing
To close out the year, the community welcomed Dennis Forte for a presentation on “The Role of Rheology in Extrusion Processing & its Impact on Texture Development.” With extensive experience in food and feed extrusion, Dennis shared expert insights on how rheological properties influence process control and product texture.
The session included a 25-minute presentation, followed by an open discussion on predictive extrusion modelling and opportunities for future innovation. A fitting finale to a dynamic year of knowledge sharing and collaboration within the community.
